What to expect:

Please contact Alex via phone or email if you would like to get a feel for whether she is the right fit for you, or if you have any questions.

Prior to meeting in person, Alex will speak with you about the current challenges and what you are hoping to gain from seeing a psychologist.

Alex prefers to meet with both parents (if appropriate) and the child or adolescent at the first appointment. The first appointment is generally longer in duration, where a more detailed history is gathered and goal setting can be discussed.

Parents are a child or adolescent’s best resource and have an essential role in ongoing treatment.

Young people (over 18 years of age) are able to  be seen independently of parents if desired.
